Mission
Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos™ (NPH) translated from Spanish is “Our Little Brothers and Sisters.” Inspired by Christian values, NPH strives to create a loving and safe family environment for vulnerable children living in extreme conditions in Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Peru. Through security and love, comprehensive education, health care, and a strong family support system, we help children overcome poverty. With this assistance, our “pequeños” become productive, caring members of their own communities.
Since 1954, tens of thousands of children have called NPH home, and thousands continue to benefit from our community service programs. This includes St. Damien Pediatric Hospital, the only hospital wholly dedicated to pediatric and prenatal care in Haiti, a country of 11.5 million people.
NPH USA’s fundraising efforts and volunteer programs champion the enduring mission of NPH as established by founder Father William Wasson.
